Warranty & Repairs
Warranty

Our jewellery pieces are made with exceptional care and quality materials. Each piece is covered under warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase.* Elizabeth Wright Fine Jewellery (EWFJ) will repair or replace any pieces we deem to have been defective as a result of the manufacturing process at no additional labour or material cost to you. Shipping charges, however, may apply.

Our warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear such as the wearing of metal, stone damage or breakage due to wear, neglect or accidental damage or loss, etc. EWFJ encourages you to have your jewellery inspected and cleaned annually to prevent stone loss, as with regular wear over time, settings can become loose. Please note that any outside alterations made to a piece of EWFJ jewellery will void the warranty.

Our custom pieces come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. In order to determine a manufacturing defect, we will have to inspect your piece. We do not warranty stone damage, breakage or loss. See below for insurance recommendations.

*Please note that our warranty does NOT cover chains.

Repairs

Elizabeth Wright Fine Jewellery will repair pieces at no expense if the item is covered under our warranty policy. The customer is responsible for shipping expenses and insurance to send the item to us. EWFJ will cover the costs to return the repaired item.

Once we receive your item, we will provide a timeline and quote for the repair, if applicable. Repair of damage due to improper wear and care will be subject to costs covered by the client (service and shipping fees).

Please contact us to arrange for a repair in advance of shipping and please include your name, description, photo, and proof of purchase. We will assign you a Return Authorization number (RA#). EWFJ will not accept returns and repairs without an RA# and the shipment will be returned to the sender.

Insurance

The purchase of fine jewellery is a meaningful and significant investment. EWFJ recommends you insure your piece(s) against damage, loss or theft. Home insurance policies may not cover the full replacement cost, so contact your insurer for more information or additional ways to protect your precious items. We can provide you with a jewellery appraisal, should your insurance company require it.
