My jewellery studio is my home away from home — a place of work, creativity, and connection. I recognize that this land has always been home to Indigenous peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples.

Toronto continues to be home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, and I acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge, and care of Indigenous peoples on this land. To me, honouring this history means reflecting on the responsibilities of making a home here, and striving to support reconciliation in ways that extend beyond words.
