Meet the Designer
Elizabeth Wright (she/her) is a Toronto-based goldsmith whose work is built on longevity and quiet luxury. She began her training at NSCAD University, where she earned her BFA and stitched together an artistic foundation that still guides her hands today. After moving to Toronto, she spent years working alongside the best in the business, absorbing the kind of bench knowledge that only travels by proximity and flame.
In 2019 she launched Elizabeth Wright Fine Jewellery, a brand devoted to craftsmanship that endures. Her pieces lean toward the timeless rather than the trendy, shaped with the belief that jewellery should accompany a life, not chase a season. She focuses on heirloom-quality materials, classic silhouettes, and fine detail. In recent years, she has deepened her practice in stone setting, now setting select gemstones herself to bring even more of the process under her own steady hands.
Liz works from a shared studio with two fellow goldsmiths, a space filled with camaraderie, solder smoke, and the low hum of ideas taking shape. Her greatest hope for every piece is simple: that it will outlive its first wearer and carry their story forward.
Whether she’s redesigning a family heirloom or creating something new from scratch, she approaches each project with the same intention: to craft jewellery that carries stories, lasts decades, and makes someone smile every time they look down at their piece.
